　　一、不管是新手還是老手的口譯員，在進行陪同口譯的項目之前，一定要認真準備，熟悉需要翻譯的文件內(nèi)容，思考可能涉及的相關(guān)領(lǐng)域知識。因為準備不充分、翻譯不流暢是口譯員最大的失誤。

　　五、因時間有結(jié)余或者中間有比較長的空閑時間的情況下，客戶私自要求譯員去周邊地區(qū)旅游及相關(guān)項目時，其實是非常危險的，能避免應(yīng)盡量避免，因為一來這類項目不能保證付費，第二點也就是最重要的，譯員和客戶二者中任何一個人出現(xiàn)安全問題，誰也無法保證誰也無法負責。確實無法避免的情況之下，應(yīng)該在出發(fā)之前和客戶說明相關(guān)情況，并找到第三方人員做證。

　　七、一般情況下，翻譯公司都會在任務(wù)結(jié)束后一個月內(nèi)將費用打到賬戶上，所以除了事先說明是客戶當場付費，否則很少有在一周之內(nèi)費用到賬的情況。

　　八、永遠不要拋開介紹人直接聯(lián)系客戶。就算介紹人允許你這樣做，你也應(yīng)該不時匯報一下該項目的情況和進展，否則會給人留下一種“不懂事”或“忘恩負義”的不良印象。另外就是如果口譯項目是別人介紹的，收到錢后一定要通知介紹人一聲，介紹人不求你對他感恩戴德，但起碼應(yīng)尊重人家的知情權(quán)，而且特別是因為中間出現(xiàn)任何問題，往往還需要介紹人出面幫你解決。
